With the "Prism" release date around the corner, Katy Perry is going strong with her promotional campaign. After the first two singles "Roar" and "Dark Horse" all received favorable reviews, the starlet is keeping the momentum going with the release of a new promo single called "Walking On Air".
The song was produced by Klas Ahlund and features some 90's retro, house sounding music. It's definitely one that can get some radio play. It's very different from the dance music we hear on radios now because it's in a lane of it own. Listen to the track below!
America's favorite hell raiser is back with a new flick. Chucky returns with a straight to DVD and Blu-Ray release of "The Curse of Chucky". It is also known around the world as "Child's Play 6". The franchise took a step back from comedy to bring on the horror.

Jennifair returns with the very first single from her new project "S.I.N.S." which is short for "Sorry I'm Not Sorry". There isn't an expected release date as of yet, but now that the first single is here, I know that it will be sometime soon.
The name of the track is called "Paranoia Consumes" and it was produced by none other than Drum Mage. It's a heavy spitting rhyme fest in the beginning but then turns into strong and powerful vocals towards the very end of the short track. Listen to the Mogul Media Records starlet below!
Last year, the inter-web and music world was set a blaze when word got out that a new Aaliyah album was in the works. Shorty after the announcement, Drake hinted that new music was coming sooner than later. Then "Enough Said" was released as a new Aaliyah single which won fans over. After it's released it was announced that Drake and Noah 40 would be producing the new Aaliyah album which would have consisted of 13 to 14 never heard before tracks from the late singer.
Well, now according to Drake, it may not be happening on his watch. The rapper revealed that he is no longer involved with the project but does hope that a song that he worked on makes the album's cut. He said that he thought the entire process was going well but the producers wanted to take it in a different direction.
Cyber bully Rihanna has begun promoting her album "Unapologetic" yet again. After supposedly scrapping her single & video "Pour It Up" , she has begun promoting the next "What Now". The video for it was shot this past week in Thailand. She gave a performance of the song for Alan Carr on his show "Chatty Man".
But before the performance the two sat down and chat it up. They had a few drinks, shared a few curse words, danced a little and laughed a lot. Get into the interview below as well as the performance for the new single. It's hilarious!
Always expect the unexpected with Drake. The rapper just dropped the new video for his latest single "Hold On, We're Going Home" which is lifted from his album "Nothing Was The Same". it's set to make a big debut next week on the Billboard charts.
This clip is nearly 8 minutes long and was directed by Bill Pope. The mini movie takes place in 1985 and Drake goes vice city. His girl gets kidnapped and he goes on a mission to get her back, shooting and blowing up everyone in sight. It features A$AP Rocky and Majid Jordan. Check out the visual below.
After the long heated cyber battle between Teyana Taylor and Rihanna, onlookers saw a jab that Teyana took as nasty and unforgiving. That jab being when she posted the battered and bruised photo of Rihanna that was taken after she was beaten by her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
That jab angered so many people that there is now a petition to have Teyana removed from her
Adidas-Reebok endorsement. It already has more than 1,500 signatures and the team is hoping that Adidas responds. See the petition below.
Well, its been a rough couple of days for these two ladies. Rihanna and Teyana Taylor engaged in Twitter beef and had a few choice words for one another. They have been friends for quite some time and no one seems to know why or where their relationship took a wrong turn.
It all started over an Instagram video that Teyana posted of her singing Anita Baker's song "Caught in the Rapture". In typical Ri-Ri fashion, she posted a video of her stylist wearing a familiar looking wig (similar to Teyana's) and singing the same song.
Then Teyana responded and the rest went down from there. The girls even went as far as changing their Twitter profile banners to take even more shots at each other. Teyana deemed Rihanna as a cyber bully, check out all the juice below!
She tried it! Over the weekend, Katy Perry hit up the iHeart Music Festival and performed her new single for the first time, along with Juicy J. her hip-hop cut "Dark Horse" is the second single from her upcoming album "Prism" which will be released next month.
She hit the stage with a group of dancers an a colorful backgrounds with flashy lights and everything, but that didn't take away from the fact that she looked awkward and out of place while trying to get her ratchetness on. It just didn't work out in her favor. Check out the performance below.
Jordin Sparks appears along side her boyfriend Jason Derulo in his new video "Mary Me". The song is lifted from his new album "Tattoos" and will hit stores every where tomorrow. The song has only made it to #121 on the Billboard charts.
Hopefully the video will give it some momentum as it's a good fit. The two of the are happily in love and it shows throughout the clip. We see them act lovey dovy, playfully having a flower fight, kiss nd just simply growing old together. Check it out below.
TLC is about to slap you with a greatest hits compilation album called "20". The release is to celebrate their 20 year mark in the music business and they're still going strong. It will also collide with the release of their VH1 bio pic "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story".
The film stars Keke Palmer, Drew Sidora and Lil Mama who portray Chilli, T-Boz and Left Eye. It will air October 21. The album is set to be released just six days earlier on the 15th. New music from the group will hit stores in 2014 as they plan on releasing a brand new record. Peep the track-list below.
Michelle Williams returns with single number two from her upcoming album "Journey to Freedom". the entire albums is contemporary christian. She's singing for the lord over catchy, urban and pop beats. The name of this song is called "Fire".
It was produced by hit maker Harmony from BOE Global. The new album is set to be released next year and the single will hit iTunes later today. In the mean time listen to the fire track below. She get's in tune her island side in this one and I love it.
Jennifer Hudson has been hard at work on her third studio album. She's putting putting in work with multiple movies hitting theaters this year and the next, she's also just finished her stint on the hit television show "Smash".
The new album is set to be released the first quarter of next year and she describes it as being a more upbeat body of work than the last album. This Pharrell produced song sounds just like it. It's called "Can't Describe (The Way I Feel)" and it features T.I. Check it out below.
Drake is continuing his promotional rounds for his new album "Nothing War The Same". It sprung a leak last week but I doubt it will hinder his sales. The rapper appeared on Ellen today and talked it up about who he's dated and things of that nature.
The two played the dating game which was quite funny to watch. Drake was blushing nervously while trying to dodge around answering the questions about Rihanna and a few others. He also gave a performance of "Hold On, We're Going Home" with Majid Jordan. Check it below.
Remember I told you how miss Mary J. Blige was planning to release her very first Christmas album? Well we have the first offering from the album which is titled "A Mary Christmas". The album will drop next month and you can pre-order it from iTunes now and obtain the song.
But until then, you can enjoy her voice while she covers the classic Donny Hathaway's song "This Christmas". The entire project was produced by mister David Foster and will features other artists like Jessie J, The Clark Sisters and more. Listen to the song below.
Justin Timberlake returns with his first offering from the second part of his double release album. Earlier this year he dropped "The 20/20 Experience" which shot straight to the top. It consisted of 10 long ass songs, and it looks like Part II will feature the same.
"TKO" is the first offering from the second half of the album and it was produced by Timbaland. I think that it's typical JT. There's nothing new or fresh about it. Granted, since it is a continuation of the last album, I guess it gets a pass....but if the was a brand new album with a different concept....I wouldn't be too pleased. Listen below.
Chris Brown is featured on the October issue of JET magazine. The singer is still promoting his upcoming album "X" which is now rumored to be a double album and released in November. Inside the fall issue, he talks about his ongoing issues with the media.
He also sheds light on his love for Jay-Z and the issues that he has with him. Rihanna and Karate Transition both are discussed as well. He talks about how he fell in and out of love with the girls and how he didn't wanna be a sucker for love. Check out a few snippets below.
Ciara announced last month that she was releasing "Overdose" as her next international single, as well as "Where You Go" which features her boo Future to the urban listeners. He's also featured on the cover above which is the artwork for the new single.
She is seen with her hand in his pants while the other stiffly grabs onto his package. It looks like she has a nice and firm grip. She don't wanna let it go. Does this fit the theme of the song? Of course not, but sex sells....so lets see if the video is just as sexy as the cover. What do you think?
Remember her? Antoine Dodson? Hide ya kids, hid ya wife? The one who shot to fame for a good 15 minutes and tried to capitilized from it by making tacky appearances and numerous events and red carpet arrivals. Oh yeah, the same one who wanted to be a music star and the same one who turned straight overnight?
Yup, her! Yell, this good girl claims to have a baby on the way with his "Queen"...his words not mine. The news came from his live Facebook page which hasn't been updated in over a month. That's where he broke the news to his many fans and followers. Some can't believe it, and other just can't see what woman in their right man would lay down with him.
"Nothing was The Same" indeed. Drake has sprung a leak just about a week before the actual release. So if you want to listen to it before you cop it, then by all means do so below. It's his third studio album and it's a hit. It features, Jhene Aiko, 2 Chainz, Big Sean and more.
The album is led by the singles "Started from The Bottom" and "Hold On, We're Going Home" and the promotional singles "All Me" along with "Wu-Tang Forever". He also pays homage to Whitney Houston in the opening track "Tuscan Leather" by sampling her anthem "I Have Nothing". Get into the album below!
R&B Diva Claudette Ortiz is getting her shine. It's been well over 10 years since the group City High and the struggle was real for her. Since being on the show R&B Divas L.A., her story has became public with everything from her crazy relationships with the other men from the former group, her being homeless and more.
She opened up more about the needing the help social services and being turned away due to her being a celebrity. She also talked about how she could never find a job because she didn't have a corporate resume. her story is really real and she lets it all out during this 30 minute interview. She's adorable and lovable and I can't wait to see more from her. Peep the interview below.
I must applaud the Katy Perry take over strategy. The fact the Juicy J is featured on one of her singles cracks me up. There no doubt that it's only an attempt to get some of the urban listeners in on her new album, but hey, whatever floats their boats.
The second single from her upcoming album has been released and it's the fan selected "Dark Horse". Like i said above, it features Juicy J and will be released on iTunes shorty. The album "Prism" is available for pre-order now. Listen to the tune below.
Tamar & Vince returned last week with another new episode. Tamar Braxton spent the days bumping around from city to city promoting her album "Love & War", giving performances and Q&A sessions. There was a lot of talk around "Hot Sugar" being a single and her having a baby.
She finally announced her pregnancy to the world and claims that she will not be having anymore. They've also moved into a bigger house all the while Terrell and big boy cut each other up with jokes throughout the episode. If you missed it, catch it below.
Umm..what I want to know is, how in the hell can Azealia Banks release a single, a title and an album release date for her SECOND project, when the first one has been pushed back further than Lebron James' hair-lining and not released yet? "Broke With Expensive Taste" was supposed to be released earlier this year but has since been pushed back til 2014 with the failed singles "Rapunxel" & "ATM Jam" being the cause.
Now this shit starter has released her first single from her second album called "Fantasea II: The Second Wave" with a release date of July 11, 2014. I don't understand it. But then again, I don't understand her. This song is called "Count Contessa" and it was produced by Lone. It sounds like something she's already done before. Listen to it below.
Britney Spears returns with a new single. The song is called "Work Bitch" and it's very electro-pop heavy. The track was penned by and produced by will.i.am and Antony Preston, Britney herself, Otto Jettman and Ruth-Anne Cunningham...A.K.A. a shit load of people.
There is still a countdown going on her official website, and it states "All Eyes On Me" with 20 hours remaining. There has been no confirmation if the countdown was for this song or another but we will find out in due time.
Above is the official cover art for the single as she's dressed like a Vegas Showgirl. If you ask me, the cover is just as tacky as the song. Listen to the heavy hitting, soon-to-be club anthem after the break and you be the judge.
Being one of the biggest entertainers in the world is no easy job. It's rigorous and dangerous. Especially for Beyonce. Throughout the year, she was been slapped on her ass, her hair got snatched and tangled by a fan, and over the weekend while she was in Brazil, an actual fan (concertgoer) decided to yank her off the stage while she was performing.
She was singing "Irreplaceable" which is the song she does the most interacting with fans and she sat down on the stage attempting to get into the crowd but she was grabbed by a fan and her security team acted fast to set her free. She continued her performance and didn't miss a beat. The guy was being escorted out, but she kept saying "It's Alright..". Peep the footage below.
Your favorite divas from the R&B world returned last night for part II of their reunion special. Michel'e, Kelly Price, Lil Moe, Claudette Ortiz and Chante Moore all joined Wendy Williams for a sit down to recap all of the events and shady ways from the season. Everyone except for Dawn Robinson, and we now know why she didn't attend.
Also, Fred joined to give his two cents about the showdown he endured with Kelly. But it looks as if more of the dirty laundry is aired, more feelings are dealt with and the ladies some what make amends. At the very very end, Wendy popped the question asking would the ladies be up for a second season, everyone said yes except for who...? Watch below and find out.
Season two of Tamar & Vince premiered last week and if you missed it, you can catch it right here. Things kick off with a recap of their busy busy year, the release of her single "Love and War", photo shoots and such while she's bumping around with her baby bump.
Tamar is just a hot ratchet ass mess and I absolutely love it! I didn't watch the first season, but I will keep tuning in for season two and so on! This episode saw a few special guest, Michael Braxton and Sparkle. So get yo life by watching below!
Tamar Braxton is doing her thing right now. She's celebrating a #2 debut on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart and sitting at #1 on the R&B Albums chart. Congratulations are in order for her as "Love and War" continues to make moves. It's third single "All The Way Home" has quickly became a fan favorite.
The singer and her hubby Vince took a trip to The Breakfast Club to promote the new season of her show "Tamar & Vince" as well as the new album. They discuss the recording process, the album, K. Michelle (who quickly responded to the shade), The Real, Toni Braxton and a lot more. Peep the interview below.
Her new album "Bangerz" is on the horizon and Miley Cyrus is ready to score. She just released the video for her newest single "Wrecking Ball". It's the follow up to her hit "We Can't Stop". The song was produced by Dr. Luke and will be featured on the album.
The video was released a few days ago and it was directed by Terry Richardson and we see an open and vulnerable Miley singing her heart out, bashing and smashing walls with balls and sledgehammers, and to top it all off, she goes naked in a few scenes. Watch it below.
It's been nearly a year since Miguel dropped his "Kaleidoscope Dream" album. Since then he's been collaborating with the likes of Beyonce, Mariah Carey, J. Cole and more. There's now official word on a new album from him, but he's been in the studio cooking up some stuff.
The track is called "Can't Sleep Together". It's very different from the material that was on the last album, but it's still very Miguel...if that makes sense. It's hard and rifty. Give the track a go below and see how you like it!
Remember about a month or two ago Timbaland spoke to Revolt in an interview stating that he and Keri Hilson crafted an apology track to Beyonce and Jay-Z titled "Sorry". Keri remained quiet about the news until now and she doesn't sound too pleased about how Timbaland made it come off.
She recently spoke to Global Grind's Blogxilla and they talked about her new found love, her role in the movie Riddick, new music as well as the alleged apology track. Since I could care less about Sheri Wilson and some of her ways, I'll just skip the goods and get straight to the shade!
He's the best thing she's never had. Beyonce's first boyfriend goes by the name on Lyndall. The desperate guy is either craving some attention, or he's deeply sorry and regretful for losing Beyonce. Who wouldn't be? He has to live with the fact that he messed over one of the world's biggest stars. Anywho, over the weekend a story appeared on The Sun and it was an interview from Lyndall talking about his relationship with Beyonce.
It was a 9 year loving relationship. The two were introduced by Kelly Rowland and met while at church at the tender age of 11 and 13. By the age of 19, her career sky rocketed to the top and she saw less and less of Lyndall. He couldn't deal, and needed some sex, so he got it which ended ther relationship and Jay-Z caught B's attention, and I think you know the rest.
New comer Ariana Grande, who seems to be the talk of the music world, has dropped her new video for her second single "Baby I". The track is lifted from her debut album "Yours Truly" which was released last week and is expected to debut on the top of the charts.
The 90's inspired video was an effort to take views back in time with a lot of colors and high wasit denim short with baggy clothes. The video has so far notched over one million viewers on her youtbue channel. Check out the video below.
Well, it took about eight months, but it appears that Keyshia Cole and Michelle Williams had that woman to woman talk which has squashed their beef....or so we think. Back in February during Beyonce's massive and much talked about Super Bowl performance along with Kelly Rowland, Cole took to Twitter to and gave her opinions about Michelle's lacking performing skills while on stage.
Fans dragged Keyshia to hell and back over the comments, Michelle addressed the situation on a radio interview a few weeks after saying that she didn't know where the negativity was coming from. Apparently, Keyshia remembered a tweet that Michelle sent out to her followers regarding one of her performances but it was deleted. Michelle denies deleting any tweets.
During the season of the show, we saw a few of the R&B Divas take part in a photo shoot. Lil Mo, Chante Moore and Claudette Ortiz did a shoot of Kontrol magazine and landed on the cover. Michel'e was absent during the taping of this and Kelly Price along with Dawn Robinson were in their own world.
A few days ago the reunion for the show aired and was hosted by Wendy Williams. Dawn was not in attendance and many believed it was due to the way the producers did the show and she didn't want to be apart of the drama because it's not what she signed up for.
Well apparently that isn't quite true. Her ex husband, who she claimed was very abusive to her during their relationship threatened to sue the star for defamation of character. Throughout the show she claimed to be physically and emotionally abused by her ex and as a result he lost out on business endeavors. So he got producers to remove her from the show and the reunion. Peep the story below.
With her #1 single "Roar" showing now signs of slowing down, Katy Perry is keeping all of the attention on her. Today she revealed the cover for her upcoming album "Prism" which is due out on October 22nd.
The photo was shot by Ryan McGinley! IT was revealed on the Good Morning America jumbotron this morning. If you missed it, she made sure everyone got a good look at it while on Twitter. What do you think about it?
Good friend Pheonix Phire asks,
Dimp, let me ask you something. I was on Twitter and came across this tweet and wanted to know what you thought about it. This guy wrote "I get my **** sucked by niggas all the time...it's 2013! It's not gay!!" His words not mine.
Clearly he's pointing out that he lets dudes give him head, but does it make him gay? What makes a man gay? I just wanted to know your opinion on it. Because I feel that if he gets it done on a regular by a man, he's probably turned on by it and I believe that if one is turned on by someone of the same sex, it makes them gay.
My response below...

Her song "Roar" has climbed it's way to the #1 spot on Billboard's Hot 100. That means Katy Perry has notched her eighth number one single. Kudos to her. She did all of that with only a performance from the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance.
The video was just released yesterday and it will probably make it keep the #1 spot for a few more weeks. The clip was directed by Grady Hall & Mark Kudsi. Check her out as she transfers to the queen of the jungle. The track is lifted from her upcoming album "Prism" due out Oct. 22nd. Peep it below.
R&B Divas LA was full of drama for yo mama! The ladies Lil Mo, Kelly Price, Claudette Ortiz, Chante Moore and Michel'e all reunited for a Diva Reunion after the show wrapped up. It was hosted by Wendy Williams..."how you dooooiiiaaaahhh". All of the ladies returned except for Dawn Robinson.
Things started off with a season recap, and then with Wendy calling out Dawn for her absence, asking Michel'le if she's ever been told to get her voice fixed, calling Claudette a hoe and more! I won't spoil it all but check out the goods below!!
Last night saw the season finale of The Game which aired on BET. Things picked up right where they left off. Malik was severely beaten and hospitalized from what were believed to be fatal injuries to his head. Tasha bickered with her father about the past and didn't get through to him with her apology.
Jason & Chardonnay's marriage nearly ended after she read the letter that he wrote his ex-wife Kelly. But things changed after she read the letter to her. Lastly, Blue and Kiera's relationship comes to a screeching halt as she cut ties with him. Check out the season finale below.
Today, Michelle Williams released the video for her new single "If We Had You Eyes". The R&B and Gospel infused cut was produced by Harmony Samuels and he also makes a cameo in the video. The song is lifted from her upcoming album "Journey to Freedom" which will be released later this year.
The video was directed by Derek Blanks and showcases a powerful segment of stories. We see the homeless begging for change and a women going through so much that she cuts herself. LeToya Luckett also makes an appearance. Check out the clip below.
