Jennifer Hudson Says "F*CK YOU" to Bossip!!

1 comment:
A FURIOUS Jennifer Hudson tweeted "F*CK U" to celebrity blogging site Bossip! Those angry tweets came in after the gossip site reported that J-Hud couldn't land a book deal about her weight loss because publishers & readers are more interested in her family murders that happened back in 2008. She has been pitching a $1 Million book deal to publishers but they're rumored to be very timid on accepting the offer. Rumor has it that the publishers feel that the book will sell more if it included the details of the slayings of her mother, brother and nephew. That's when Jennifer went on to tweet the following...

As cruel as it is, I'm shocked to see Jen drop the F-Bomb and curse. The funny thing is that the tweets are still there and have not been deleted. She has every right to be upset. But as unfortunate as it may seem, the world can be cruel. They're thinking as businessmen and not on a personal. They can care less about how she feels about the subject matter. They're only concerned about how much money the content will bring in. Question is, will she give in? Would you?

Fresh Artist: D’Andre Horn

1 comment:
This Fresh Artist comes from Texas and he goes by the name of D'Andre Horn. This tender face currently attends Columbia College and it embarking on a solo career in the music industry. He just released his debut single called "This Kind of Love" Check out a brief bio as well as the song below.

D'Andre Horn was born and raised in Dallas, TX. He started singing in the church choir and the school choir at a very young age. It wasn't until his eighth year in school did he decide to chase his dreams in music when he was accepted to Booker T Washington High School for the Performing & Visual Arts located in the Downtown Dallas Art District.

At this high school he made a big name for himself participating in three varsity choirs and two music ensembles. He was most recognized for his work and effort in Booker T. You know, the song isn't half bad. It actually sounds like something professional. There are a lot of up and coming artists who's music sounds like it was recorded on someone's Mac Book in low quality. But this production actually sounds fresh. The beat is very upbeat and spring like to me. His voice.....it kind of makes me just like want to jump in his arms. He has an amazingly soft & beautiful voice, I love his vocals and delivery. It all blends in so smoothly with the production of this track. The only thing that I do dislike in this song is the way the harmony sounds within the chorus. I think his voice sounds so much better without the enhancing harmonies. That's nothing bad, just my opinion. I think he has the type of voice that can do without the enhancements. Or maybe it's just the way it sounds in this song. But all in all, it's a great effort and a great song. He may be a new comer but this is a lot better than some of the R&B played on the radio today. I can't wait to hear more from him. What do you think?

Lady Gaga Sells 1.1 Million Copies

1 comment:
Looks like my prediction was right. Lady Gaga has sold well over what it was predicted to and she continues to shatter records. Her "Born This Way" album sold a staggering 1,108,000 copies. This marks the singers very first number one album. Thanks to strings being pulled by internet giant Amazon selling the album for only 99¢ with the purchase of their cloud service. That gimmick alone sold her nearly 440,000 copies alone, then the others came from big time retailers such as Best Buy, Targert, iTunes, Walgreens & even CVS.

Her team pulled out all the stops to make sure that she has the highest debut ever, though some people are arguing that the Amazon sells shouldn't partake in the adding of sale since it was only sold for a dollar, but Billboard thinks otherwise. So yes, Lady Gaga is number one this week on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and will possibly remain there for a few weeks. Check out the report below via Rap-Up.

Lil Wanye always channels different ways to tackle music. I don't even know if I would consider this rap. I dig this track. Who knew he had a voice like this. of course this isn't the best vocally but coming from Wayne you can't help but love it. What do you think?

Fresh Music: T-Pain - "Best Love Song" feat. Cnris Brown

No comments:
T-Pain & Chris Brown reunite again for their latest collaboration called "Best Love Song" which is lifted from T-Pain's new album "rEVOLEr". Check out the newly released video below.

I heard this song on the radio a few days ago while I was in the car with my friend, and I thought to myself...I actually like the song, then I heard Chris Brown's part...then I thought again as to why I don't really like their collaborations. It's because I hate it when they both use that mess of an auto-tune. That's all this song is filled with, but whatever. The beat is nice and the video is all but cheesy.

Beyoncé Performs on Idol

No comments:
Please bare with me, for there are a lot of Beyoncé posts. I know a lot of you love here and there are millions of you that hate her. Well here she is. She also took to the stage to American Idol, not once but twice. First she joined the contestants on stage where six of the finalists performed a slew of hits from the songstress, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” “Irreplaceable,” “Get Me Bodied,” “If I Were a Boy,” and “Deja Vu,” and "Crazy In Love". That's when B joined along and devoured the stage. Later that evening she returned to the stage to debut her newest single from her new album "4" called "1+1".  posted the track earlier, now you can hear her slay the song live. Peep both performances after the jump.

Check out this new Beyoncé track called "1+1". The song is rumored to be featured on her new album "4". The song sees B singing over an acoustic guitar about how she has her and her baby. Check it out below.

The song has this old vibe to it, like an old school Etta James vibe. Kind of takes me back to her "Dangerously In Love" era. I actually like it a lot. I love her slower songs over the fast paced ones. Her rumored track listing for the new album. Peep it after the break. I don't know if it's real or not but it's deemed official.

Lady Gaga's Letterman Interview & Rolling Stone Cover

No comments:
Lady Gaga covers the latest issue of the Rolling Stone magazine rocking orange hair color wrapped in a bow. Her album dropped yesterday is word on the street is that it is on it's way to selling between 750k-1 Million copies within the first week. News comes in as Amazon & Interscope Records teamed up with offering her new album "Born This Way" for only $0.99 with the purchase of an upgrade of 20GB of Cloud service from the company. She also dropped by David Letterman and gave an interview..a very odd one in my opinion. Check it out below.

Beyoncé Accused of Stealing Billboard Performance Concept

6 comments:
You all know I dislike posting negative posts about Beyoncé, and I'm gonna try to turn this positive as I can. So this video was spotted over at The Prophet Blog and a lot of other blogs are calling her a copier and un-original so I feel I need to speak on the matter. Without further ado, she is under fire and being deemed a PLAGIARIZER because of a similar performance done by Italian artist Lorella Cuccarini  just last year. Both of the performances were done and designed by the same company Tribe Inc who creates images and special effects and visuals throughout performances. If you care to read my rant the peep it and check out the video after the jump.

Lady Gaga & Justin Timberlake Perorm on SNL

No comments:

Lady Gaga took to the stage of SNL tonight and performed her singles "The Edge of Glory" & "Judas". She's there promoting her new album "Born This Way" which drops tomorrow...(yes on a Monday). The show also featured Justin Timberlake.  Check it out below.

You just gotta love Gaga. Well....the performance of "The Edge of Glory" of course...the litte that she did!! I'm just not a fan of "Judas". It's not my cup of tea. I don't like the song nor do I like the performances of it. She needs to just put that song to rest and bury it six feet under so that it never sees the light of day again. That should have been the intro and "The Edge of Glory" should have been the main song she performed, not a melody of it. Disappointing! I guess she's trying to get it people to dig the song and make it happen because she thought it was just going to be EVERYTHING her little monsters wanted, but it wasn't.

If you wanna see the other skits that Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga did on the show, check them out after the break.

Yesterday the hot blonde bombshell premiered yet another video from the album for the song "I Should've Kissed You" This marks the 5th video released from the album "F.A.M.E." It's not a single or anything, just a viral video for his fans. The next single from him will be the Justin Bieber assisted "Next 2 You". Check out the clip below.

Jennifer Hudson Readies Second Single

No comments:
Jennifer Hudson has FINALLY announced the second single from her project "I Remember Me" which dropped back in March. The song "No One Gonna Love You" will be distributed to urban radio stations next Tuesday. It was written an produced by Rich Harrison. If you haven't heard the jam yet, listen to it below.

JEEEEESSZZ! It took long enough. I love this album and I've been waiting to hear what the second single was gonna be. I like this song but I was rooting for "Gone" to be released as the next single and I doubt that it will happen because that song takes a spin on pop and Jennifer isn't marketed as a pop artist but more of R&B/Urban. I still think it has great crossover potential. The album as a whole has great potential and it was backed up by TONS of promotional appearances, then it came to a halt. I don't know what happened but I hope this single does more for the album. Until then, we'll settle with knowing that we'll soon see a video for "No One Gonna Love You". So keep it locked.

Keri Hilson Premieres "Lose Control" Video With Nelly

Fresh Music: Beyoncé - "Till The End of Time"

No comments:

Beyoncé is delivering surprise after surprise this week. First she premieres her video for "Run The World (Girls)", then makes an appearance on American Idol, then releases the artwork for her new album "4" and now she has graced us with the full song from the previous leak of "Till The End of Time". No word on it's writers or producers or if it will serve as the second single from the project but the song see's Beyoncé taking it down a notch from the previous song. Check it out below.

Can you say upgrade? This song is SOOO much better than "Run the World (Girls)". This is the side of Beyoncé that we all know and love. She is singing over a heavy drum filled production with more horns and bass. It kind of gives you a vibe from her "B'Day" era only more aggressive with the instruments. They definitely make their presence known throughout the song. The beat goes hard and Beyoncé gives you her raw singing & fast rapping on the track along with her lovely runs, vibratos and harmony. I love it. Now all I need is an untagged version and all will be complete. What do you think about the song?

Beyoncé Premieres Album Cover + Music Video

No comments:

Just in cased you missed the premiere, you can check out the video for Beyoncé's highy anticipated video "Run The World (Girls)" below. It premiered on American Idol earlier and has since increased her position on iTunes. She has jumped from number 168 to number 70 in just a few hours so the promotion has paid off. Above is the official album cover for the standard edition called "4" and it will drop on June 28th. Check out the video below.

As for the cover above...I simply don't like it. I do not. It just looks unfinished and tacky to me. I think a better job could have been done and I was hoping that that album would have read "IV" instead of simple "4". Now, on to the video...I'm going to give credit where it's needed, and I like the video a lot, she's starting a new dance trend yet again. The moves were sick and she was gettin it. She even did the stanky leg at one part. Her and her army of girls did the damn thing and I'm sure there is more to come from her. Remember, the picture above is the standard edition of the album so I hope the deluxe edition cover looks better than what this mess is. Share your thoughts below.
